JAMMU, Feb 22: National Public School, Nagri-Parole in collaboration with National Society for HRD and Research[NGO] celebrated its Annual Day 2016 in the premises of the school today.
The theme of this year programme was based upon national campaign on ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ and Anti-Drugs.
MLA Kathua, Rajeev Jasrotia was the chief guest, while RL Bharti was the guest of honour.
The programme started with Saraswati Vandana, followed by the scintillating performances by the young kids.
Students presented a unique picture of Indian socio-cultural values and Unity in Diversity through their mind-boggling performance.
National Society for HRD and Research [NGO] ,also presented a skit as a part of its campaign on the theme of National Campaign ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ which enthralled the audience. Performance by the young kids of Pre-Primary Wing was another attraction of the programme.
Kali Dass, senior most teacher presented welcome address, while Principal Mohan Lal presented the Annual Report of the School.
Mr Jasrotia gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and appreciated their performances.
While throwing light on the menace of the drugs, he advised the parents’ to be careful about the activities of their children.
The chief guest lavished praise on the chairman of the School, Dr Hari Dutt Shishu.
Akhil, Amit and Tavish Sharma conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Finally, Dr Shishu presented vote of thanks.
