JAMMU, Jan 6: Five day long Junior and Master Power Lifting Championship, being organized by J&K Sports Power Lifting Association commenced at Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar here today.
The Championship was inaugurated by Suresh Kumar, Chief Prosecuting Officer, J&K High Court.
Peter Throne, Vice President, International Power Lifting Federation, USA, Subrata Dutta, Arjuna Awardee and Hall of Fame Awardee and Rajan Jain, general secretary of the association were also present on the occasion.
Around 1500 participants from various parts of the country are participating in the championship.
