JAMMU, Dec 31: National Model Academy Kail Pardai School celebrated its Annual Day cum Prize Distribution ceremony on the theme “Respect and love for Parents” in the school premises, today.
The program started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the blessings of Almighty.
More than 300 students attended the ceremony and mesmerized the audience with their magnetic performance.
Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Jagdish Raj Sharma, Chairman National Model Academy was the guest of honour.
Nand Kishore Sharma, Ex Vice Chairman JCCB and DySP Gharu Ram SDPO Ramnagar were the special guests.
The school sponsor, Darshana Kesar, Managing Director Nirmal Kesar, Administrative Officers Dr Neeraj Kesar and Pooja Balgotra and Principal Raj Rani Sambyal were also present.
Earlier, Nirmal Kesar welcomed the dignitaries and Principal Raj Rani presented the school’s annual report for the year 2019-20.
He highlighted the achievements of the school in both academic and co-curricular activities.
The students presented a variety of cultural items including plays, songs, skits and dance performances.
The highlight of the celebration was a drama based on female feticide.
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore congratulated the school for making an effort on such an enlightening subject for the annual function, which requires speedy moral action from everyone.
He appreciated the students, teachers and teachers of the school for presenting the programme.
All the guests appreciated the efforts of students, teachers and parents to make the festival a great success.
Mr Sharma applauded the Principal and teachers for their long-term efforts to bring better results and provide quality education.
Certificates and trophies were also distributed among meritorious students.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Administrative Officer Dr Neeraj Kesar and was followed by the National Anthem.
