National Model Academy celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Jan 18: National Model Academy Smart High School (Kail Pardai) celebrated its Annual Day cum prize distribution ceremony on the theme ‘Respect and love for grandparents and social issues’ in the school premises, here today.
The program started with the lighting of the lamps wherein students mesmerized the audience with their magnetic performance. Member Parliament Jammu Poonch, Jugal Kishore Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Jagdish Raj Sharma, chairman National Model Academy was guest of honor and BMO Majalta Dr Mohd Latief Kohli, CDPO Majalta Hakikat Singh, ZEPO Majalta, Ashwani Khajuria, SHO Sohan Singh Bandral, and AEE PDD Udhampur, Sunil Pawa were the special guests.
Darshana Kesar, Managing Director, Nirmal Kesar, Administrator Officer, Dr Neeraj Kesar, Pooja Balgotra and Principal Raj Rani Sambyal were also present.
MD Nirmal Kesar welcomed the dignitaries, while the Principal presented the School’s annual report and highlighted the achievements in both academic and co-curricular activities.
During the program, the children entertained the audience by presenting plays, songs and dance performances.
The chief guest congratulated the School for making an effort on such an enlightening subject for the annual function and appreciated the students and teachers for presenting the program. He said that such programs provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The certificates and trophies were also distributed among meritorious students. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Administrative Officer Dr Neeraj Kesar, followed by the National Anthem.
Teacher Jyoti Devi got best teacher award, whereas Mamta Samyal got well behaved teacher award and teacher Sonia Devi was awarded with teacher of year award for punctually, while Vishali Devi got student of the year award.
