JAMMU, Sept 7: Government Degree College Vijaypur today organised online national level sketching competition on ‘Corona Warrior’ under the guidance of College Principal, Dr Sangeeta Sudan.
The motive of the competition was to draw a sketch on the recognition and salutation to the services rendered by the Corona Warriors during the pandemic.
Students from various colleges and universities across the country participated and shared their sketches in praise of the Corona Warriors.
The first position was shared by Aakanksha Sharma, SKUAST, Jammu and Poonam Sharma, BMS Institute of Para-Medical Sciences, while the second position was shared by Omit Kumar, MAM College; Garima Gupta, SKUAST-Jammu; Manish Ojha, NITS Polytechnic; Megha Sharma, PDCH, Udaipur, Rajasthan and Shivam Khajuria, SMVDU and the 3rd position was shared by Mansi Rani and Sejal Raina, GCW Parade.
Consolation prizes were given to Janvi, KV Samba and Sanyum Kumar, IITM Murthal, Haryana.
The event was adjudged by Prof Anil Bhagat, Dr Shittal Sharma and Dr Sunil Mangoch.
