National Champions Trophy Hockey to be held soon

SRINAGAR, June 22: Secretary, National Sports Club Srinagar (NSCS) Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani informed that 10th All India National Champions Trophy Hockey 2023 will be held in collaboration with J&K Sports Council as soon as handingover of hockey Turf by the Engineering Wing of Sports Council.
The Secretary said that six teams from Jammu and Kashmir and four teams from rest of the country shall participate in this Mega Tournament. He added that two international teams will also participate in this prestigious tournament which is being organized after a long gap of 19 years at venues like Polo Ground, Amar Singh College Srinagar and Pulwama, Kashmir.
Another member of National Sports Club said that the event will be live telecasted by the all reputed channels of National Media and efforts will be made to cover the event by international media also.
He also expressed hope that this mega tournament will definitely pave way forward for the hockey enthusiasts across Jammu and Kashmir.
