JAMMU, Sept 29: National Champion Gym, Sai Rakwal, Jammu felicitated its medal winners of the recently held 1st J&K Senior, Junior and Master Bench Press Championship in a function held here today.
The function was organiez by Sanjeev Singh, former International player and coach of Powerlifting.
Sarpanch of Bhadrore, Raghubir Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, who was accompanied by Kiran Pandita, Satish Kumar Chadha, Vivek Gupta and Satish Singh Chib.
The players who were felicitated on the occasion included Sandeep Singh Power Man 66 kg and Tarun Dev Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Raghubir lavished praise on the organizers for holding the event and lauded the efforts of the players and coaches for their achievements.
Meanwhile, Royal Health Club also excelled in this Championship. In Senior men 74 kg, Sandeep Singh Bamnotra clinched silver and in 93 kg, Adil Ashraf bagged gold, while in Master men, Raman Sharma and Bharat Mengi won gold in 66 kg and 105 kg categories respectively.
