BUDGAM, May 11: Narspora XI, Kashmir Knights and FCC Dab registered wins over their rivals in the ongoing Shaheed Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial T20 Cricket Cup, being organized by Al-Mehdi Foundation Budgam, here.
In the first match, Narspora XI defeated Club of Unity by 23 runs. Narspora scored 143 runs in 18 overs, while in reply, Club of Unity managed to score 122 runs to lose the match by 23 runs. Sayed Suhail was adjudged as man of the match for scoring 30 runs.
In another match, Kashmir Knights defeated Narsalarpora by a big margin of 99 runs. Kashmir Knights scored 221 runs in 18 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process, while in reply Narsalapora bundled out for 122 runs. Showket Bhat was declared as man of the match for his brilliant batting display. He scored power-packed 62 runs off just 23 balls, besides taking 2 important wickets.
In the third match of the day, FCC Dab outplayed Shogpora XI by 41 runs. FCC Dab scored 192 runs, while Shogpora XI managed to score 151 runs to lose the match. Sajad of FCC Dab was adjudged as man of the match for scoring 72 runs off 45 balls.
