Nanda to lead Indian Speedball team at Tunisia

JAMMU, Oct 25: India’s ace player and chief coach Sunny Nanda will lead Indian National Speedball team in the 32nd World Speedball Championship at Tunis (Tunisia), which is scheduled to be held from October 27 to 31.
The championship is being organised by Tunisian Speedball Federation in collaboration with Federation International De Speedball (FISB).
The Indian Speedball team consists Sunny Nanda and two other players namely Harshdeep Singh- a student of Banyan International School in junior team, and Gurmanjeet Singh- a player From Crescent Sports Club Janipur in senior team.
A see off function was organised by J&K Sports Speedball Association for the selected players wherein AK Attri (Retd DIG JKP & senior vice president J&K Sports Speedball Association) was the chief guest and Tarun Uppal (president Jammu Speedball Assoc-iation) and Pawan Kumar (event secretary) were the guests of honour.
AK Attri said that it was a pride moment for the Union Territory that three players of J&K will represent India at the international level.
