JAMMU, Feb 15: Nagrota Cricket Club and Raj Warriors registered wins over their rivals in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup, being played at KCSC ground, here.
In the first match, Nagrota CC defeated Latif Cricket Club in a close contest by 2 wickets.
Batting First, Latif Cricket Club scored 137 runs in 20 overs. Anchal and Ramil scored 24 and 22 runs respectively. Jatinder took 5 wickets for Nagrota Cricket Club.
In reply, Nagrota CC chased the target in 19.1 overs. Arnav top scored with 55 runs, while Vishavjeet contributed 31 runs to the total. Lateef and Anchal took 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Jatinder of Nagrota CC was declared as the man of the match.
In another match, Raja Warrior Cricket Club defeated KC Sports Club Juniors by 23 runs.
Batting first, Raja Warriors Cricket Club scored 155 runs in 20 overs. Pardeep Bali, Yuvraj Saini and Nipun Verma scored 28, 27 and 26 runs respectively. Hisham Saleem took 2 wickets.
KC Sports Club Junior bundled out for 131 runs. Sidharth Bhat and Akash made 38 and 24 runs respectively. Govind took 4 wickets, while Vikram Dogra claimed 2 wickets. Raja Warrior Cricket Club won the match by 24 runs. Govind of Raja Warrior Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match.
