JAMMU, Dec 16: MV International School, Vijaypur bagged the trophy for ‘Overall Best Medalist Team’ which included 5 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals in the State Speedball Championship which concluded at M A Stadium, here yesterday.
Around 1200 students from 6 districts and 60 schools participated in the Championship.
The medal winners from MV International School included Atish Slathia (7th A), Aryan Vaid (8th A), Dishant Multonia(8th A), Vishal Sharma (8th B) and Vikas Sharma (5th B) (all gold); Adeev Kundal (7th A), Mansi Slathia (8th C) and Himanshu Sharma (8th A) (all silver) and Aryan Vaid (7th A), Mansi Slathia (8th C), Prabjot Singh (4th C), Akshit Slathia (4th C), Rohtaz (6th C), Sparsh Samyal (7th A) and Pratham Thappa (7th A) (all bronze).
School Director, Gourav Abrol and the Principal K L Dogra lauded the efforts of the students and their coaches Sunny Nanda and Gurjeet Singh for this achievement.
