JAMMU, Dec 8: Jammu and Kashmir were strongly placed against Odisha as promising batsman Musaif Ajaz scored 153 runs, studded with 15 fours and 6 sixes in the ongoing Cooch Behar Under-19 Boys Cricket Tournament at Ravenshaw University Ground-1, Cuttack in Odisha.
Earlier, resuming from an overnight total of 217/3, J&K lost skipper Kanhaiya Wadhawan at his overnight score of 103, but Musaif Ajaz who was unbeaten on 70, continued his brilliance and scored magnificent 153 runs to help Jammu and Kashmir scored 350/6 before declaring the innings. Yawer Hassan was unlucky to be dismissed on at 49 runs.
In reply, chasing a huge total, Odisha were struggling at 183/5 in the second essay.
