JAMMU, Nov 29: Mount Litera Zee School, Anand Nagar, Bohri celebrated Annual Sports Day.
The fantastic turn out from the guests and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion on the grand way with the oath.
Chairman, Er Parneesh Mahajan took the salute of the impressive march past. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the students.
On this day, students of classes I to VII competed house wise in events including like Spoon Race, Three Leg Race, Kabaddi, Sack Race, Tug-of-War, Making of Garland and Balloon Blowing. A special item of Martial Art was included and the participants took part with great enthusiasm.
Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Manikarnika Bhasin, Coordinator Radhika Mahajan, staff and students were also present on the occasion.
The function started with march past by the captain, vice-captain and the house captains by holding their house flags towards their designated places.
Speaking on the occasion Er Parneesh Mahajan said that sports is an integral part of Indian Culture and the history of Indian sports dates back to the vedic era.
The day ended with the encouragement and sportsmen spirit among the students.
Later, the Chairman distributed the certificates among the winners.
