JAMMU, Aug 26: Model Academy, the premier School of MIER organized an Investiture Ceremony for selecting the Head Boy and Head Girl of the school from the students of Senior Secondary Wing.
Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER was the chief guest. He was accompanied by Rupa Gupta, Principal Model Academy, Usha Gadoo Vice Principal, Manju Vali, convener co- curricular committee and Usha Chuni, convener Sports.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Adit Gupta impressed upon the students to play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school, adding that the students council had a great responsibility in maintaining the discipline, organizing events and reporting to the school authorities about the functioning of the school.
Rupa Gupta, Principal lauded the students for being elected to these coveted positions.
The students who were elected included Sarth Koul, Head Boy, Hanit Kour, Head Girl, Ayush Koul, Vice Head Boy and Shreya as Vice Head Girl.
The function was co-ordinated by Manju Vali, while Nishtha Aggarwal conducted proceedings of the programme.
