JAMMU, Mar 6: Minerva Public School Kathua today celebrated Annual Sports Day of its Pre Primary and Primary wing with great enthusiasm in the school premises, here today.
The school playground was filled with zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
Indu Rekha (District President Mahila Mandal BJP) and Vijay Lakshmi (General Secretary Mahila Mandal BJP) were the special guests on the occasion.
The function started with the lighting of traditional lamp, followed by Sarswati Vandhana.
The event was organized in different categories.
Apart from the recreational activities like Simple Race, Jump Race, Frog Race etc, a special performance on Karate display and Roll Ball display was also given by the students.
Indu Rekha applauded the enthusiasm of the students.
Sheetal Sharma, Principal of the School appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for their good show.
She also presented vote of thanks.
Finally, the winners were felicitated by the chief guest with medals and certificates.
