JAMMU, Sept 11: Model Institute of Enginering and Technology (MIET) emerged victorious in both men and women section of the Inter-collegiate Badminton Championship, being organized by Department of Sports and physical Education, Jammu University, at Gymnasium Hall, here.
In men’s section today, MIET defeated New Age College by 3-2 and advanced into the next round.
Meanwhile, in women’s section, MIET thrashed MBS College by two sets to nil 2-0 to make it to the next round.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Ramesh Magotra of Department of Physical Education.
Prof Ankur Gupta Joint Director, Prof SK Sharma, Principal, Salim Raza Qureshi, Convener SGC, MIET have congratulated both the teams on their superb performance.
