JAMMU, Jan 22: Over 300 alumni visited MHAC Campus on the occasion of Alumni Meet, organized by Nagbani Alumni Association, here today.
All the members paid floral tribute to the founder of School Maharaja Hari Singh, which was followed by Hawan wherein ‘Mukhya Yajmaan’ were Principal Sween Puri and MLA Sukhnandan Chowdhary. Principal read out a beautiful poem to refresh the school memories of everyone. Sukhnandan Chowdhary and Brigadier BS Sambyal also shared their experiences after the Hawan. ‘Prashad’ was distributed after Hawan.
Games like Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball and Football etc were also enjoyed by the students on the occasion. Musical Chair Race was another attraction before lunch. In the post lunch session, the Alumni Association honored many of the MHAC teachers for their contribution in the field of education.
Mrs Puri showed a presentation comprising of the developments in the school since last many years, which was a treat to watch for everyone to go down the memory lane.
Students of first (year 1967) and second batch (1968) were also presented with shawls and mementoes.
Some alumni presented songs and also shared their lovely memories.
