JAMMU, July 6: Members of All Jammu and Kashmir Gym Welfare Association called on Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg and discussed various issues being faced by owners of the Gym, here today.
In this regard, the members of the Association also submitted a memorandum to the DC Jammu wherein they elaborated that they have been facing hardships since Government had closed all the Gyms across the UT due to COVID-19 pandemic.
They demanded that the Govt should open the gyms as they were helpless to arrange even bread and butter for their family members. “We are bearing all the expenses including electricity charges and other but our income is still zero due to closing of all establishments,” they narrated to the Deputy Commissioner.
The members met with the DC Jammu under the leadership of its president, Tarun Tak and appealed him to open the Gyms as soon as possible.
