JAMMU, Dec 29: MBS Club Makhanpur Simbal thrashed Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hockey Club by eight goals to nil (8-0) in the Under-19 Junior Hockey Championship, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
The players of MBS Club dominated the proceedings from the word go and scored the first goal in 8th minute of the game to gain an early lead. Gaganjot Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Karanjeet Singh and Shivam Sharma displayed brilliant hockey skills and score 2 goals each in this one-sided affair.
In another match, Maharaja Ranjit Club Simbal defeated Young Star Hockey Club by three goals to one (3-1). Mandeep Singh, Pawanjot Singh and Amandeep Singh scored the goals for Maharaja Ranjit Club in 7th, 10th and 16th minutes of the match respectively, while Talvinder Singh netted the goal for Young Star Club.
In the 3rd match of the day, Zorawar Club Satwari drubbed Bagh Bian Club, Gole Gujral by four goals to nil (4-0). Harish Vaid and Chatanya Bhat scored 2 goals each for the winners.
