Mamta visits Self Defence Training Camp

KATHUA, July 14: Mamta Singh, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today visited New Age College of Education at Phinter in tehsil Billawar where Kathua Police has organized 10th Batch of Self Defence Training module for the benefit of females of the area.
It is pertinent to mention here that the 10th batch has started on July 11 to equip females’ especially young girls of tehsil Billawar including remote area with latest techniques of self defence alongwith awareness about legal provisions available for the protection of women against any crime.
The resource persons as well as participants gave demonstrations in front of Mamta Singh. They demonstrated different techniques of self defence which any female can use to protect themselves during any untoward situation.
On the occasion, Mamta Singh interacted with the participants and advised them to take benefits of this ongoing training program. She also advised SSP Kathua Neeva Jain to organize such camps in every parts of District Kathua and also include advance techniques in the training.
