JAMMU, July 24: All round performance by Shavac Makin helped Stephens Cricket Academy to register 41 runs win over Trikuta Cricket Academy in the second match of the three matches series, being played at Railway ground here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Stephens Cricket Academy scored 209 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 30 overs. Shavac Makin played a splendid inning of 56 runs and remained not out, while Atul hits some crispy shots and made 49 runs. Paras, Harsh and Jitender scored 37, 14 and 12 runs respectively.
For Trikuta CA, Siddharth and Vasu Lamba took 2 wickets each, while Aditya Sharma and Manitvya scalped 1 wicket each.
In reply, Trikuta CA failed to chase the target and made 168 runs by losing all the wickets in 27 overs. Pranav Sharma scored 36, Mubassir made 34 runs, Aditya Sharma chipped in 16 runs and Manitvya made 14 runs. Uttkarsh, Vasu and Aineesh scored 13, 12 and 11 runs respectively.
For Stephens CA, Shavac Makin and Vasu Choudhary took 3 wickets each, while Abhishek Kumar scalped 2 wickets. Harsh and Vrishab took 1 wicket each.
Man of the match was awarded to Shavac Makin of Stephens for his brilliant performance of unbeaten 56 runs and 3 wickets.
The match was officiated by Balbir Singh and S Singh.
The series is being conducted under the overall supervision of Sukomal Ganguly Head Coach of both the academies.
