JAMMU, Nov 21: GD Goenka Public School organised an Inter School Debate Competition on “India Needs Electoral Reforms”, in which students from various schools participated actively and presented their views.
In the competition, Mahima Sagar of Heritage School bagged first position, while, the second and third positions were claimed by Kritika Bakshi of host school and Rythem Babbar of Heritage School.
On the occasion, the jury members were Dr Garima Gupta from English Department, University of Jammu and Alka Sharma from The Business School, University of Jammu.
Principal of the host school, Poonam Jha, congratulated the winners and assured that such kind of activities will be carried out in the future too.
At the end, head girl of the school, Afifa Shoket, presented vote of thanks.
