Luthra Schools celebrate 60th Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 13: Luthra Public Schools Palace Road/Talab Tillo along with Shemrock Icons and Angels jointly celebrated 60th Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony with pomp and show at Abhinav Theatre here today.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC was the chief guest on the occasion, while Joint Commissioner JMC Pradeep Manhas presided over the function.
Sunaina Sharma, Secretary JMC and Mohd Alyas Khan, Deputy Director Estate Department were the guests of honour. The special guests included Padam Shri Balwant Thakur, Director Natrang; ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts & Guides; Dr Salim Khan, Health Officer JMC; Kamal Gupta, President J&K PSA and Gourav Chopra, Municipal Corporator.
Students presented a variety of cultural items which enthralled the audience.
Shiv Tandav, Punjabi Bhangra and Classical Indian dances were a delight to watch.
Chairman Rajeev Luthra presented historical overview, development and achievements (both academic and co-curricular) of both the Institutions.
While stressing the students to keep their surroundings neat and clean, the chairman also urged them to revive Indian traditional games like Kabaddi and Kho-Kho.
Sanjeev Luthra, Managing Director Luthra Academy and Abhishek Luthra, Dean Academics also spoke on the occasion.
Finally, the vote of thanks was presented by Anuradha Luthra, Principal Luthra Public School.
