JAMMU, June 9: Lucky Cricket Club defeated Bhalwal Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the ongoing 6th Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at MHAC School ground, Nagbani, here.
Batting first, Bhalwal Club scored 170 runs. Ashwani top scored with 49 runs, while Nitin contributed 28 runs to the total. Rohit Sharma took 3 wickets from Lucky Club.
In reply, Lucky Club sailed on a brilliant innings of 76 runs by opener Ajay Singh Slathia to win the match by 6 wickets. Amit Singh Jamwal also contributed 26 runs to the total. Bittu took 3 wickets from Bhalwal Cricket Club. Ajay Singh Slathia was adjudged as the man of the match.
