JAMMU, Mar 30: Lord Shiva Academy, Brikamila celebrated its annual day with great pomp and show.
On the occasion, Nodal Principal, GGM Science College Dr NK Resutra was the chief guest.
The students presented variety of cultural items, which were highly appreciated by the audience with thundering applause. Some sports activities were also organised, in which students participated enthusiastically.
While speaking, Dr Resutra called upon the parents to spare time and accompany their children in various academic and cultural activities.
In this modern world parents do not find time and children feel aloof thereby resulting the children gets diverted to unwanted activities, he added.
The chief guest also distributed prizes among students who had excelled in academics and sports.
In sports the awardee students were Aryan Jaral, Sahil Singh Manhas, Aryan Jaral, Divyansh Jaral, Nihal Singh, Rahul Jaral, Raman Thappa, Rahul Singh, Captain Kusum Rani, Captain Palavi Rajput, Captain Divyansh, Captain Aryan, Rupali, Palavi Rajput, Sunali and Digvijay.
In Academics the awardee students were Sushant Thappa, Mohit Thappa, Jaya Sharma, Shivanshi Sharma, Bhawana Thappa, Ankit Thappa, Shaeena Akhtar, Kanu Salgotra, Anish Thappa, Rubia Kouser, Mansi Kundal, Mamta Devi, Sunali Mangotra, Shreya Thappa, Manish Thappa, Diya Mangotra, Mansi Kundal, Mehak Thappa, Kashish Sharma, Neha Thappa, Tania Thappa, Aryan Jaral, Divyansh Singh, Manish Thappa, Isha Thappa, Nishu Bala, Aman Sharma, Riya Mangotra, Priyanka Kundal, Kusum Rani, Palavi Rajput, Julliya Manhas and Digvijay Singh.
