JAMMU, Nov 18: Outplaying Young Iqbal Football Club convincingly in the pre-quarterfinals, Lone Star Kashmir Football Club entered the quarterfinal of the ongoing All India Gold Cup Football Tournament 2015 at Kamptee in Nagpur.
Lone Star Kashmir FC defeated Young Iqbal Football Club, Kamptee in tie-breaker by (3-2) goals. Both teams played some aggressive football till the last minute of the game in the stipulated time, but no one was able to score any goal and the game ended in a goalless draw. Then the match was decided in the tie-breaker, wherein both the teams scored 2 goals each. The match went in to sudden-death in which Lone Star FC emerged winner by (3-2).
Safiz, goalkeeper of LKFC was adjudged man of the match.
