Kathua Feb 25: Drubbing their rivals convincingly on the 3rd day, LB Shastri Cricket Club Delhi and Sabhi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur sealed berth in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at Sports Stadium, here.
In the first match, LB Shastri Cricket Club Delhi defeated District Kathua XI by 8 wickets. Vikas Dixit was the star performer, who scored 52 runs off 58 balls, studded with five fours and one six.
In another match, Sabhi Cricket Club Hoshiarpur defeated J&K Police Kathua to enter the last eight stage.
Batting first, J&K Police Kathua bundled out for 67 runs in 15.5 overs. In reply, Sabbi Cricket Club chased the target in 8.1 overs by losing one wicket to win the match by 9 wickets.
Ankit Choudhary top scored with 31 runs off 21 balls and Jitesh scored 30 runs off 23 deliveries. Bunty was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance. He took 3 important wickets in his 4 overs.
The winners will play in the quarterfinal at the same venue today.
