KATHUA, Mar 5: Defeating Saajan XI by 9 wickets in the summit clash, Kathua Blues lifted the title trophy of the Jammu Kathua Premier League (JKPL)-Season-1 at Sports Stadium, here today.
Minister for Forests, Ch Lal Singh was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
Thirty two teams drawn from Jammu, Kathua and adjoining areas participated in the tournament to vie for the top honours, wherein two teams of Kathua Blues and Saajan XI made it to the finals.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the organizers for holding this mega event and advised the youth to more and more participate in games and sports for better lifestyle.
