JAMMU, Aug 20: Laksh of MHAC Nagbani and Sudipty bagged gold medal in Gymnastics, while KC International School lifted twin Korfball titles in the ongoing Inter School District Level competitions in the disciplines of Korfball Under-17 and Under-19 years boys and girls and Gymnastic Under-19 years boys and girls, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Offcie Jammu at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar and Gymnasium Hall, MA Stadium, here.
The competitions were organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services and Sports J&K and under the Chairmanship of Madan lal, Joint Director (J), while Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu is the Organizing Secretary of the tournament.
In Korfball Under-17 years final at Green Field Gandhi Nagar, KC International School beat Model Academy Jammu by 10-7, while in Under-19 final at the same venue, KC International School drubbed KC Public School by 4-2.
In Artistic Gymnastics Under-19 boys at Gymnasium Hall, MA Stadium, Laksh Mahajan of MHAC Nagbani won gold, while the silver and bronze medals went to Rajveer Singh and Manav Gupta of DPS Jammu.
In Artistic Sudipty Khanna claimed gold, while Sweeta Gupta clinched silver, while in Rythemic Gymnastics, Sneha Dewan of Oriental Academy won gold, Nandhni Lakhotra of Spring Bells High School clinched silver and Tawishi Singh of Kirti Public School claimed bronze.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts of the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu.
