KV Miran Sahib celebrates annual day

JAMMU, May 9: KV Miran Sahib celebrated annual day at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
The chief guest of the occasion was Bhagwant Singh, Commandant BSF 78 battalion, Indreshwar Nagar, Nominee Chairman VMC KV Miran Sahib and the guest of honour was Salinder Kour.
The programme commenced with lightning of traditional lamp amidst the enchanting of the Sanskriti Shloks, was followed by invoking the blessing the goddess Saraswati through a dance performance.
Little angels of class I and II welcomed the audience and enthralled them with their performances.
Message to stay fit was conveyed through a combination of contemporary dance forms like Zumba, Aerobics and Masala Bhangra.
The children of classes 4th to 7th tapped their feet on the traditional dance form ‘Kathak’.
The choices life offers and ones decision between right and wrong and total surrender to the cosmic power was showcased in English dance drama. India being a land of diverse cultures was highlighted in a remix of dances of Haryana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Earlier, while presenting annual report, Principal Rajkumar highlight the achievement in the field of academics and co-curricular activities at various level.
The programme co-ordinators were Dr Sugandh Pandey CCA Incharge and Gunjan Kohli, while students namely Lovejeet, Urmi, Sangam and Janam anchored the programme.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Gurmeet Singh, PGT of the Vidyalaya.
