KV 1 Gandhi Nagar organizes workshop for PGTs

JAMMU, Aug 2:  A three day Workshop for PGTs (Maths), of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Jammu Region was inaugurated at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
T R Choudhary, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion.
Thirty eight teachers, including resource person and Coordinator, from different Vidyalayas of KVS, drawn from Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are participating in this workshop.
Speaking on this occasion, Choudhary said that the survival of the fittest is the quote of the day, meaning that the teachers should be so fit that they are proficient to give hundred percent results with high performance rating.
He said that to be proficient in their respective fields of expertise they will have to struggle. It adds to the confidence level of the performer in the times to come, he added.
The aim of conducting the workshop is to update the teachers with the educational technology and preparing them to give better results in the Board Exams. The teachers will discuss the issues of concern for the upliftment of the educational standards of the teachers and students.
The new scheme of examination for the Senior Secondary Board Exams will be discussed and the paper setting according to new Blue Print of the CBSE guidelines will be a part of practice during the workshop.
Rajni Gupta, PGT (Maths), K V Nagrota is the Resource Person for the Workshop and Sudha Gautam, PGT (Maths), K V No 1, Jammu is working as Coordinator for the same.
