JAMMU, Sept 8: Shuttlers sweated well on the Day 3 of the ongoing All J&K State Ranking and Selection Badminton Championships, being organized by J&K Badminton Association at indoor sports complex, badminton hall, MA Stadium, here today.
The technical officials were Satpal Sharma, Vikram Saini, Bhaktawar Singh and Sukhdev Singh.
In Men Singles, Raghav Dogra, Manish Sharma, Sarabpreet Singh and Vipul Saini defeated their rivals Bhavya, Mujeev, Adarsh Singh and Nakul Vaid respectively and sailed into semis.
In U-19 Boys Singles, Bhavya Sharma will clash with Puranjay Sharma in the final. Earlier in the first semis, Bhavya Sharma defeated Nakul Vaid, whereas in second semis, Puranjay Sharma beat Sehdev Singh.
In U-19 Girls Singles, Unnati Jaral will take on Krishika in the final. Earlier in the first semis, Unnati Jaral defeated Manu Baloria, whereas in the second semis, Krishika beat Shambhavi Rajput.
In Women Singles, Krishika beat Vaishnavi Sharma and lifted the title trophy.
In Men Doubles, Divum and Sunil, Harsh and Akshay, Vipul and Sahil and Raghav and Manish sailed into semifinal stage.
In Women Doubles, Unnati and Krishika defeated Niteshi and Rupal to lift the title trophy.
In U-19 Boys Doubles, Ritik and Bhavya will take on Sarabpreet and Puranjay in the final.
In Senior Mixed Doubles, Harsh and Vaishnavi beat Sunil and Niteshi to register berth in the final.
