KPC urges Govt to redress problems of displaced Pandits

Excelsior Correspondent
NEW DELHI, Oct 18: Expressing concern over the pathetic condition of the Kashmiri displaced Pandits, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri today urged the State and Central Governments to pay attention towards their immediate problems and not to ignore this peace loving community for its pseudo secular politics.
Addressing the meetings of his organization at Bhadurgarh Haryana, Mr Kashmiri reiterated that Pandits return was not possible without carving out a separate homeland under the name Kashyap land where there is free flow of Indian Constitution.
He stressed on rehabilitation of KP youth by granting financial assistance to them, passage of Shrines Bill, probe into land grabbing, enhancement of cash relief, construction of more shops at Jagti and other camps, allotment of shops to displaced KPs putting up at Jammu and Delhi and representation to Pandits in legislative bodies.
Kashmiri, condemned Pakistan and  separatists for raking up the so- called Kashmir issue in United Nations, IOC and international forums time to time and urged them to accept the geo-political realities as UN resolution on Kashmiri has become irrelevant and changes at global level need to be recognized by Pakistan as well as by separatists
Welcoming the announcement of Union Home Minister that Government will not to revoke AFSPA in J&K immediately and would wait and watch the situation, he said that immediate revocation of AFSPA is neither in the interest of the people of State nor in the interest of the country in view of the presence of over 400 terrorists in the State as claimed by Chief of the Army Staff recently.
