JAMMU, Oct 29: Kishore Kumar’s five for had failed to yield good result as Karalian Cricket Club (KCC), Vijaypur registered 8 wickets win over Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) and entered into the next stage of the ongoing 2nd Diwali T-20 Cup, being organized by Youth Welfare Association Cricket Club Simbal Camp at Government Boys High School, Simbal Camp, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, KCC made paltry 58 runs by losing all the wickets in 11.5 overs. Subam scored 19 runs.
For KCC side, Kishore Kumar scalped 5 wickets by giving 13 runs in 4 overs, while Inderjeet Singh and Narinder Singh took 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, YCC chased the target easily in 6.3 overs for the loss of just 2 wickets. Rohit Sharma was the top scorer with 21 runs, while Inderjeet Singh made 19 runs.
For KKC bowling, Satwant Singh and Ashok Kumar scalped one wicket apiece.
Kishore Kumar of YSCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance.
The match was officiated by Kulbir Singh and Harcharan Singh as umpires, while Gurvinder Singh maintained the scoreboard.
