AKHNOOR, Jan 12: Khour Cricket Club defeated YCC by 5 wickets in New Year Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club, Akhnoor at Government Higher Secondary School ground, here.
Batting First, YCC scored a paltry total of 103 runs in 20 overs. Mrinal, Shotu and Ishan contributed 17, 15 and 13 runs to the total respectively. For Khour CC, Govind and Arvind took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Khour Cricket Club chased the target easily by losing 5 wickets, thus won the match by 5 wickets. Abhishek top scored with 26 runs, while Vishal and Dinesh contributed 23 and 22 runs to the total respectively. Kaka was the most successful bowler from YCC, who took 3 wickets.
