JAMMU, Mar 27: District Jammu Kho-Kho Championship-2021 was inaugurated by Surjit Singh, MPW Officer Satwari Block at Govt Primary School Boys Gadigarh, here today.
In men section, NIS defeated SAI by four points in a close contest, while Parivartan trounced NIS junior by six points and NIS got better of Bhargav Public School by five points.
In women section, NIS defeated SAI by five points while Simba Warriors trounced GCW Parade by seven points and GCW Parade beat PG team by walkover.
The matches were officiated by Charanjeet Singh, Dheeraj Sharma, Amrinderpal Singh, Santosh, Ajeet Singh and Rohit Sharma, whereas Tarmeet Sheenu, Pankaj Malhotra and Jagdev Singh were among the prominent who graced the championship.
