Khalsa Club outplays KCSC in low scoring match

JAMMU, July 15: Khalsa Cricket Club defeated KC Sports Club by 7 wickets in a low scoring match of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup 2015, being sponsored by KC Motors Jammu and played at KC Public School ground, here.
Earlier, KCSC won the toss and decided to bat first to score a modest total of 92 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Pranav top scored with 20 runs, while Amrit Pal contributed 16 runs to the total. Arif and Mannu took 3 wickets each for Khalsa Club.
In reply, Khalsa Cricket Club chased the target of 93 runs easily in 12.3 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Harpreet Singh played a brilliant innings of 34 runs, while Subhinder contributed 25 runs to the total. For KCSC, skipper Arjun Choudhary took 2 wickets, while Bablu claimed 1 wicket.
