Kempo C’ship concludes at New Ashoka Diamond

JAMMU, Dec 31: District Jammu Championship, organized by District Association under the aegis of Kempo Association of Jammu and Kashmir organized at New Ashoka Diamond Hotel, here today.
About 60 students from various Schools and Clubs participated, which was organized under the supervision of Rohit Thakyal, secretary general of Kempo Association of J&K.
Naresh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Ishmeet Singh, Mehul Sharma, Ranjeet Singh, Piyush Choudhary, Abishek Kumar and Harsh were among the technical officials of the event.
Kulbir Singh-SP City was the chief guest of the closing ceremony in presence of Ashok Gupta, MD of Ashok New Diamond Hotel and Rajiv Gupta, president of Association, Naresh Kumar, joint secretary, Amit Kumar, vice president and Ajay Kumar, treasurer.
In 6 years (boys) category, Ayant Gupta won gold medal, while in 9 years, Aahan Sharma and Asmatullah clinched gold and silver, while Veer Vikram and Parth Thakyal secured bronze medals and in 10 years, Aum Gupta and Saksham bagged gold and silver, while bronze medals were won by Navjot and Darsh Bhatt, besides in 11-12 years, Kanishq, Abishek and Divyansh clinched top three medals respectively, whereas in below 14 years , top three medals were secured by Angat, Akhileshwar and Aadhyaman respectively and in under 16 years (50kg), Ritish Pansotra won gold, Aman Kumar bagged silver and bronze medals were clinched by Vidan Zutshi and Rudra Bakshi.
In under 16 years (below 60 kg), Prashant Rattan, Karan Kumar and Krish Kumar bagged top three medals respectively, while in under 18 years, Mohd Amir, Eshan Saini and Vikas Sharma clinched gold, silver and bronze respectively and in under 18 (below 70 kg), top three medals were won by Ranjeet Singh, Shivam and Divyanshu respectively, besides in under 21 years (85 kg), Harsh Dotra and Anirudh Verma won gold and silver, while Abishek and Tushar clinched bronze medals, whereas in below 14 years girls category, gold and silver were secured by Sargun Kour and Akshra Sudan, while Sneha Malhotra and Anshika won bronze medals and in below 45kg girls, gold and silver were won by Gunika Gupta and Simran Tak.
In the under 55 kg girls, top two medals were clinched by Mehul Sharma and Vanshika Dewan, while Yanchan Lamo and Sudiksha bagged bronze medals and in the under 70 kg girls, Shivali Rajput secured gold medal.
