JAMMU, Jan 12: KC Sports Club (KCSC) defeated Game Changers by 2 wickets in the ongoing ‘New Year T20 Cricket League’ organised at KC Sports Ground Jammu.
Batting first, Game Changers scored 112 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 18 overs. Tanveer (19) and Touheed (13) were the main scorers. From the bowling side, Vishwajeet Singh took 2 wickets, while Krishna, Kanan, Paras, Avinash and Varun took 1 wicket each.
In reply, KC Sports Club chased the target in 16 overs by losing 8 wickets, thus winning the match by 2 wickets. Vishwajeet Singh made 64 runs and Kanan scored 17 runs. From the bowling side, Khalid took 3 wickets, while Tanveer took 2 wickets and Jahangir bagged 1 wicket. Vishwajeet was declared as man of the match.
The league is being jointly organized by Veterans Cricket J&K and KC Sports Club Jammu and supported by J&K Police, which is being sponsored by Narayana Hospital Katra, Horizon Group, Game Changers and KC Sports Club.
