JAMMU, Mar 2: Five students of KC Public School took part in the on-the-spot painting competition hosted by Wadia Institute of Natural History on the Campus of Jammu University recently.
The competition was part of the seven days long Science Exhibition put up by the Museum for the benefit of School children.
The event was supported by the National Council for Science & Technology, New Delhi. Numerous Schools from Jammu and Udhampur visited the exhibition and took part in the painting competition.
The theme of painting and poster making was ‘Make in India: Science & Technology Driven Innovations’.
Osheen Mahajan, Shourya Gupta, Akhilesh Malguria, Samreen Fatima Ansari and Amodhini Karwani of KCPS took part in the competition. Akhilesh Malguria won the first position in the contest and brought home a trophy and immense glory for his school.
Dr. Bindra Thusoo, an NRI, was the special guest on the occasion.
The Vice Chancellor of Jammu University also graced the event with his presence.
