JAMMU, May 30: Five students of KC Public School escorted by Round Square Rep Sonia Thakur took part in the 4 days’ long RS Regional Conference hosted by Genesis Global School, Noida, recently.
The delegates in the age group of 15 to 17 years were Hanumat Sharma, Vatsal Khajuria, Sudikshan Gupta, Akshita Puri and Gul Rehan Fatima.
About 75 delegates from various Round Square member schools from South Asia & Gulf region attended the Conference.
These included Indian School Oman, Millennium School Dubai, Daly College Indore, Assam Valley School Assam, Vidya Devi Jindal School Haryana, Lawrence School Ooty and the host school Genesis Global.
The theme of the Conference was ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’, which aimed at focusing on the significance of future for the global generation of today and to what extent collective and joint preparations could be made to steer human destiny into a positive direct in view of the new challenges emerging at a fast pace in the 21st century.
A wide range of activities such as the opening ceremony, thought-provoking keynote addresses by eminent speakers, community service outings, barazza sessions, a multi-cultural evening and quite a few exciting adventures kept the delegates busy throughout the conference.
KCPS delegates did exceptionally well with their enthusiastic involvement in the activities of the Conference.
