KCPS excels in Students Olympic Games

JAMMU, Nov 2: KC Public School (KCPS) excelled in the 9th Students Olympic National Games organised by Lovely University Jalandhar (Punjab) from October 28 to 30.
More than 2500 students from different States took part in the championship in various sports including Cricket, Badminton, Basketball and Swimming in which students of KC Public School represented the UT and made a mark by winning several top positions.
In Cricket, Kceans made a clean sweep of all the three categories, namely, Under-12, Under-14 and Under-17 by winning championships and bringing home the ‘Overall Championship Trophy’, while in Badminton, they bagged 6 Gold medals and 4 Silver medals and in Basketball, Kcean boys won a Bronze medal and girls settled for a Silver medal.
However, in Swimming, KCPS students gathered the biggest haul of medals consisting of 25 Gold, 9 Silver and 6 Bronze medals.
The School management including Chairman Raju Chowdhary , Managing Director Arti Chowdhary and others congratulated the students for their superlative performance and put in a word of appreciation for Moon Stephen, (HoD Sports) and Coaches Babita Rani, Arvind Kumar, Neeraj Prasad and Sahil Loria for doing an excellent job of training students for national level sporting competitions.
