KCIS organizes Inter-School Drama, Declamation

JAMMU, Aug 24: In order to develop dramatic skills and promote acting ability among the students, KC International School organized ‘Thespian’, an Inter-School Drama Competition and Declamation, here today.
Leading schools namely Jodhamal Public School, Jammu Sanskriti School, Army Public School Nagrota, Stephens International School and Heritage School participated in this Competition. The programme was graced by Chandersekhar, a famous cartoonist of Jammu, Kanwal  Peshin, a noted comedian, writer and actor and Rita Khanna, In-charge Primary Wing of  Model Academy.
The theme of the Drama Competition was Shakespearean Comedy. Each school had to put up an act of around 7-8 minutes.
The judgment was done on the basis of acting, costumes and dialogue delivery.
The 1st position was shared by Jodhamal Public School and KC International School, 2nd position went to Jammu Sanskriti School and the 3rd position was secured by Stephens International School.
In declamation competition the 1st position was bagged by Stuti Sharma of KCIS, 2nd Position was bagged by Akshay Rohmetra of Heritage School and 3rd position was claimed by Vashnavi Mahajan of Jodhamal Public School. The best entertainer was given to Zitin Koul of Jodhamal Public School and Danish Sharma of K C International School.
