JAMMU, Mar 23: KCC registered victory over Challenger Club by 60 runs in the quarterfinal match and sailed into the semis of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, sponsored by KC Sports Club, Jammu.
Batting first KCC scored 186 runs in 20 over. Top batsman was Shashi Kumar who made century and Raman Dutta contributed with 33 runs.
For Challeger Club side, Sahil took 2 wickets and Ashu claimed one wicket.
In reply, Challenger Club failed to chase the target and lost the match. Sahil Bhalwal was top scorer with 29 runs and Mussa contributed with 17 runs.
For KCC side, Shashi Kumar was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Ranjinder Singh, Dilader Singh and Shanker.
