KC Sports Club wins thriller; Patel CC, GSI Tigers register wins

JAMMU, May 30: Riding on Vinayak’s brilliant 61 runs and Rohit’s valuable 36 runs, KC Sports Club won an exciting contest, while Patel Cricket Club and GSI Tigers scripted convincing wins over their rivals in the ongoing 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League, being organized by the Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club Jammu at KC Sports Club, here.
The league is being organized under the Chairmanship of MK Sinha, IGP Jammu.
In today’s matches Farooq Kaiser, SP Headquarters Jammu was the chief guest who was introduced with the participating teams.
Earlier in the first match Patel Cricket Club defeated Vriddhi Royals by 7 wickets. For winners, Shivansh scored 52 runs, while Arya Suvansh contributed 30 runs to the total. Nityam Abrol took 3 wickets, which fetched him man of the match.
In another match, KC Sports Club defeated Horizon Kings by 2 wickets. Raj Angad op scored with 57 runs from Horizon Kings, Aman took 3 wickets from KC Sports Club. Apart early hiccups Vinayak showed the guts and grit and top scored with 61 runs, Rohit also contributed 36 runs and Aman 22. Vinayak was declared as the man of the match.
In another match, GSI Tigers defeated AKN Strikers by 4 wickets. Batting first AKN Strikers scored 90 runs f in 20 overs. In reply GSI Tigers chased the target in 17.5 overs for the loss of 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets. Sourav was adjudged as the man of the match.
