JAMMU, Aug 30: Around 60 students of senior wing of KC Public School were inducted into the Students’ Council of the school for the academic year 2016-17 during investiture ceremony, organized during special morning assembly today.
They were administered oath of office in a solemn but elegant ceremony and were given their badges of authority by Principal Amarendra Mishra and Senior Coordinator Kiran Gadroo.
Anushree Mishra and Numan Pavez Kamlak, both of Class XII, were appointed School Head Girl and School Head Boy respectively. Kritika Sharma and Meenal Jain took the office of School Cultural Captains and Ritwik Jamwal and Anirudh Virdi as Literary Captains. Garima Singh and Namandeep Singh were appointed as Sports Captains of the School.
Students of Class XI were also inducted into the Council. Shreya Mohan and Isha Khurana were assigned the office of Vice Head Girls and Eklavya Gandotra and Adhyoksh Jyoti were appointed as Vice Head Boys. Apporvi Gupta, Manvika Gupta, Rupakshi Mahajan and Arunima took oath as Vice Cultural Captains, whereas Vibhiti Sapru, Ninaad Mahajan, Anjali Deep and Prakriti Bisht were assigned the office of Vice Literary Captains. Shreya Sharma, Shreya Mahajan and Ritik Raina were inducted into the Council as Vice Sports Captains.
House representatives of four houses of the school were also given their oath of office. Viren Gupta took over as House Captain of Poonch House to be assisted by Ritvik Gupta and Jaiveer Singh as Vice House Captains. Seerat Raina took over as House Captain of Kashmir House whereas Arshiya Mahajan and Akshita Mengi took charge as Vice House Captains. Shivangi Saini was appointed House Captain of Ladakh House to be assisted by Ranvijay Singh Manhas and Avneesh Dhar as Vice House Captains. Prachi Suri was appointed the House Captain of Jammu House whereas Ribhav Mittal and Sahar Rohmetra took the office of Vice House Captains.
Principal Amarendra Mishra wished them great success in their leadership roles during the current academic year.
