JAMMU, Nov 27: KC Public School organized 4th Edition of Inter-School Mega Quiz, under the aegis of Sahodaya Complex of CBSE Affiliated Schools, here today.
The participating Schools in the competition include hosts KC Public School, Delhi Public School, KC International School, APS Akhnoor, Jodhamal Public School, Sainik School Nagrota, APS Rakhmuthi, KV-2, Model Academy, APS Kaluchak, Stephens International School and Banyan International School.
The contest was held in a huge multipurpose hall of KC Sports Club.
Around 250 students of host School and participating Schools formed responsive audience, who cheered their School teams vociferously.
The Quiz began with an innings round, which was followed by the quarterfinal round and a semifinal round, before the finals.
The race for the final stage turned intense with the degree of difficulty in the questions turning several notches higher. Eventually KC Public School and Jodhamal School made it to the finals.
Gunjan Singh and Ningnung Jakoinao of Jodhamal School emerged champions of the Quiz, while AyushMAAN Sharma and Samarth Bhat of KC Public School remained runners-up.
Anita Koul and Bhavna Langer conducted the contest smoothly. Parvez Dewan was the chief guest on the occasion, who gave away prizes to the winners and runners-up teams.
