KC Gurukul organizes Summer Fruit Bonanza

JAMMU, May 28: Summer Fruit bonanza was organized in KC Gurukul Public School Paloura, here today.
Classes 1st to 5th exhibited their individual stalls where they displayed the various fruits. The fruits were presented in an ornamental way.
Beautiful and elegant baskets and designs were made out by cutting fruits. The garnishing look tempted each and everyone present there.
The students presented their stalls with the help of poems and songs about fruits and came dressed up as fruits and recited various poems based on the nutritional values of fruits.
The importance of eating fruits, their content values and various facts related to fruits were stated by the students.
They also made everyone realize that eating fruits does not mean just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It’s important to know how and when to eat and what is the correct way of eating fruits.
Ruchika Gupta and Jyoti Verma were the judges of the competition.
From classes 1st and 2nd, Teacher in-charge of class 1st A, Sulbha stood first, while Eisha from class 1st B stood second and Poonam and Bhawana from 2nd A and 2nd B stood third. From classes 3rd to 5th, class 5th A (Rakhi) stood first, 5th B and 3rd B (Radhu, Pooja) stood second and 4th C (Jyoti Kumari) stood third.
