KC Gurukul holds Inter-School folk song competition

JAMMU, Jan 30: An Inter-School folk song competition was organized by KC Gurukul Public School Paloura, under the banner of Sahodya School Complex Jammu Chapter in its school premises, here today.
Prestigious schools of Jammu and Udhampur participated in this event in order to strengthen cordial relations amongst the CBSE Schools, besides this opportunity provided to young scholars to excel in co-scholastic areas.
Roshi Shaminotra, Jasmeet Kour and Trivid Sharma were the adjudicators of the event, while Brij Mohan was the guest of honour.
Earlier, Head Mistress KCGPSP Jammu, Anju Razdan presented welcome address.
The host School dominated the show by bagging 1st prize, while the 2nd prize was awarded to MV International and Jodhamal Public Schools which was a tie between these two schools and consequently Jammu Sanskriti bagged third prize.
The consolation prize was presented to G D Goenka Public School.
Academic Director of the School,  Vijay Puri encouraged the participants for their unprecedented calibre,  Yogita Yadav lauded the efforts of the winners.
The prizes and the certificates were given away by the Chief Guest and the Academic Director, Vijay Puri .
