Kathua Senior Mens Hockey C’ship concludes

KATHUA, Mar 12: First District Senior Men’s Hockey Championship 2021-22, organised by Hockey J&K, concluded at Sports Stadium, here today.
More than 80 players in different areas of the district participated in the championship.
The final match was played between Hiranagar Hockey Club and Jasmergarh Hockey Club wherein Hiranagar Hockey Club won the match by 5 goals to nil. Three goals were scored by Suraj Singh and two goals were netted by Sandeep Singh. The match was officiated by Rohit Sharma, Harsh Dev Singh and Sarthak Verma.
Satish Sharma (Retired Sai coach) was the chief guest of the final match who distributed the prizes among the players and appreciated the participants for their participation in the championship.
The tournament is being organised by the president of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir under the supervision Rajeev Sharma (president) and Dr Taran Singh (general secretary), while Satpal Singh, Manager Stadium, Shakti Gupta (Judo coach), Vinod Kumar, Jyoti Naresh and Tilak Raj among the prominent were present during the event.
